There is no charge to the Veterinary employee for this service. We charge a fee to hospitals that are looking for employees, but we do not charge the employee. We will set up multiple interviews with prescreened facilities that are prepared to receive an early career Veterinarians. Most of our candidates receive multiple offers. We discuss the differences between offers that you receive and pros and cons of how these positions may set you up for future success. We review employment agreements and contracts with you prior to signing to make sure you have a good understanding of your expectations. *This does not include review of contracts by a lawyer.
Every Veterinarian who is placed into a position by TVTA will have access to our personal experience for the first year of employment at no charge. This includes questions or advice on clients, team mates, personal finance, medical and surgical cases or anything else that our experience may help with. You are always welcome to reach out with basic career questions even after this period at no charge, but more extensive consultations will be charged based on the time involved with the project.
If we place you into a position, we charge a one time placement fee to the employer who hires you. This fee is similar to a headhunter fee, but our fees are often reduced to insure that we are able to maintain competitive compensation packages for the Veterinary employee.
